After working with multiple Hair Loss clients, I started to really see the impact it had on their confidence and their lives, and for me, that was everything, and from there, I knew that's where my passion was.
That's why I created SkalpD.
Hi, I’m Ashleigh – founder of SkalpD and a hair loss specialist with over 13 years of hands-on experience in this incredible industry.
I created SkalpD because I knew there had to be something better. Something more realistic. More wearable. More confidence-restoring.
Since launching in 2021, this method has helped transform not just my clients’ lives – but also the careers of salon professionals across the world.
Over the last four years, I’ve trained amazing stylists – both in person and on Zoom – and while their skills have always been strong, many struggled with confidence once back in the salon.
That’s why I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and built an online platform that offers real training, real mentorship, and real support.
It’s a space for you to learn, grow, and always have someone in your corner.
What is SkalpD?
SkalpD is a non-surgical hair loss system designed to mimic the appearance of a real scalp and hairline. It blends beautifully with your skin, giving you a natural, realistic look — and best of all, it’s tailored to the client.
No two systems are the same, because no two clients are the same. (unless they purchase a stock piece). Unlike traditional toppers or wigs, SkalpD uses a specialist scalp-replica base that sits flush to the head and gives the illusion of hair growing from the scalp.
